GREEN BAY (WLUK) — From the very beginning, NFL Draft organizers projected the three-day attendance total in Green Bay would be approximately 240,000 people.
With one day still left to go, we’ve already far exceeded that number.
ESPN Adam Schefter reports a NFL official says the attendance for the first night of the draft Thursday was 205,000 fans, and Friday’s total was 175,000 — a number that likely would have been higher, had it not rained for much of the afternoon.

Altogether, that puts overall attendance so far at 380,000 people.
Saturday is sure to bring another big crowd, with a beautiful day of weather expected for draft festivities and Brad Paisley headlining a post-draft concert.

To get accurate attendance numbers, the NFL employs camera systems at all of its entry points, which count people as they walk through the gates. Keep in mind, however, that if one person enters the draft footprint on each of the three days of the event, that counts as three people.
