Disney prepares for summer with new deals, new shows
Disney’s new “Little Mermaid” and “Villains” shows debut in May.

Millions of people visit Walt Disney World every year. This summer, the company is bringing out special deals, two new shows, a new nighttime parade and limited-time activities and entertainment for families with kids.Summer dealsIn a rare move, Disney is offering 50% on kids’ tickets for families who purchase a 3-day or longer standard ticket. Bookings start March 27. Families must use the tickets beginning May 27 through Sept. 20.Disney is also enticing guests with a 3-day, 3-park ticket starting at $89 per day ($267 total, plus tax) for visits starting on April 6 through Sept. 22. This ticket is for EPCOT, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. This is good for one theme park per day, not valid for admission to Magic Kingdom.The free dining plan deal is also back where guests can get a free dining plan with the purchase of a non-discounted 4-night, 4-day (or longer) package that includes a room at select Disney Resort hotels and a ticket with a Park Hopper option. Disney Starlight, coming to Magic Kingdom, will feature beloved characters from “Peter Pan,” “Encanto,” “Frozen” and more. And at Magic Kingdom, families can enjoy kid zones with added fun in Storybook Circus and in Tomorrowland with Stitch. More details on the limited-time fun is set to be released soon.
