Severe storms are moving through the Pittsburgh region as tornado warnings and severe thunderstorm warnings have been issued for parts Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
A tornado warning has been issued for several parts of northern West Virginia including Cheat Lake, Westover, and Star City.
The warning is in effect through 5:15 a.m. and also includes parts of Fayette and Greene counties in western Pennsylvania.

A tornado warning was issued for parts of eastern Ohio, the West Virginia panhandle, and western Pennsylvania just before 4 a.m. that expired at 4:15 on Thursday. The tornado warning included parts of Eastern Belmont County in Ohio, parts of Marshall and Ohio counties in West Virginia, and parts of Greene and Washington counties in Pennsylvania.
A severe thunderstorm was issued for a large chunk of the Pittsburgh area just before 4:45 that is expected to be in effect through 5:15 a.m. on Thursday.
During a tornado warning, the National Weather Service says to move to an interior room on the lowest floor of where you are and to stay away from windows.
