(TNND) — Avelo Airlines has reached an agreement with the Department of Homeland Security to assist in the deportation of illegal migrants in the United States.

The Houston-based low-cost carrier will charter flights from Mesa Gateway Airport in Arizona, utilizing three Boeing 737-800 aircraft in collaboration with Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Avelo Airlines announced plans to establish a crew base at the airport, which will create new job opportunities.

The airline intends to hire flight attendants and aircraft technicians as part of this expansion.

The Department of Homeland Security informed The New York Post that the Trump administration has deported over 100,000 migrants since President Trump assumed office on January 20.
