Masters Tournament 2025
The winner of the 2025 Masters Tournament will walk away not only with a good-looking green jacket, but also with a fatter wallet.
First-round action tees off Thursday at the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia, for the 89th Masters Tournament. Action continues through Sunday, where one golfer from the initial 95-team field will look to walk up to the iconic 18th hole looking to make that legendary, multimillion dollar-winning putt.

How much the winner and other competitors can walk away will not be known until the end of the tournament, but a payout of than $20 million is expected to be handed out among the golfers in this year’s field.
For the first time ever, the Masters pool was $20 million in 2024. That means the pool for the winner was higher than ever, too. Scottie Scheffler won $3.6 million after beating Ludvig Aberg by four shots to win his second Masters in three years. Aberg still got a nice purse of $2.16 million.
