Sacramento enters Wednesday’s matchup having won five of their last 10 games to close out the regular season and they ended the season with a crucial victory over the Phoenix Suns that locked them into the ninth seed in the Western Conference standings.
They will now look to keep their playoff hopes alive against a struggling Mavericks team that lost six of their last 10 contests to end the regular season.
Of course, Dallas has dealt with a ton of injuries this season since trading away Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers at the trade deadline, which is proving to be a worse and worse move by the day.

The Mavericks announced that Davis is listed is probable for Wednesday’s game and he is expected to play despite dealing with an adductor injury.
This is massive news for the Mavericks as they will desperately need Davis as healthy as possible to take down the Kings to keep their season alive.
While Davis is expected to play, Dallas has ruled out Kyrie Irving and Olivier-Maxence Prosper while Brandon Williams is listed as questionable due to an oblique injury.
With the Mavericks shorthanded, like they have been for most of the season, they will need some key players outside of Davis to step up, including Klay Thompson who has been known to go off in the playoffs.
