The Red Sox almost experienced some wicked déjà vu on Saturday.

Triston Casas had other ideas.

Casas, looking to avoid the same fate as just one week prior, belted a walk-off single with the bases loaded in the bottom of the tenth to defeat the Chicago White Sox at Fenway Park. Boston had something extremely familiar happen to them (blowing a lead to open the door) in last weekend’s loss, though this time, it came out on the winning side.

Casas had been 1-for-13 prior to the walk-off, which was the first of his career.

The Red Sox and White Sox will return to the ballpark early on Easter, with the former looking to get revenge and secure a series victory over one of the worst teams in baseball history.
