TNA Wrestling Star Appears at ‘WWE WrestleMania 41’ in Stunning Fashion

A TNA titleholder made a stunning appearance during “WWE WrestleMania 41.”

Going into the annual two-night PLE spectacle, one WWE legend thought he had his “WrestleMania” plans figured out. Randy Orton had every intention of delivering a punt kick to Kevin Owens at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday. Plans went awry when Owens was forced out of the match due to neck problems.

Orton laid out an open challenge to anyone in the WWE locker room or the Las Vegas Strip. Ultimately, it was TNA World Champion Joe Hendry who answered the call.

Hendry didn’t spend much time with “The Viper” inside the ring. He couldn’t land Standing Ovation early on, but he did connect with a fallaway slam. After posing for the fans, Hendry was hit with an RKO, and he lost via pinfall. Orton hit him with another RKO after the match.

Hendry has become quite familiar to WWE fans. He’s appeared on “WWE NXT” and was even an entrant in the 2025 men’s Royal Rumble match.

Hendry will be facing another WWE superstar before the end of the month. He will defend the TNA World Championship against “WWE NXT” star Ethan Page and Frankie Kazarian at “TNA Rebellion” on April 27.

As for Orton, he’s likely on his way to an Undisputed WWE Championship match in the near future. In the buildup to “WrestleMania,” Orton warned Cody Rhodes that he will eventually compete for a world title again. The question is, will Orton face Rhodes or John Cena?
