Just a few hours to go and the 2025 NFL Draft will be finally be upon us.
As predictions for the Denver Broncos pick fail to gain any sort of coherence, the one thing that we can be somewhat sure of is that the team will most likely focus on the offensive side of the ball at the skill positions.

With running back the clearest need, the impression many draft forecasters have is that this will likely be addressed in the first round of the draft, and if not, no later than day 2.
Yet, with some new developments, this line of thinking could end up being mistaken.
Breece Hall of the New York Jets, per Josina Anderson, is “available” to be traded – according to her source.
This is not anything as concrete as a formal agreement to seek a trade, or a trade request on Hall’s end, but it does seem like for the right price, Hall could leave New York.
Particularly after Hall added fuel to the fire in a semi-cryptic post on Thursday morning.
Consequently, the Broncos feel like a natural fit for the Iowa State alum. Hall is an established back who has failed to kick on to the next level top tier players at his position after being stuck behind a poor Jets offensive line.

In joining the Broncos, who have one of the best o-lines in the NFL at the moment, Hall could finally pass that 1,000 rushing yard seasonal barrier and turn into one of the foremost rushers in the league.

Given Hall’s injury history and three years of tread on his tyres – for a position that has a notoriously short shelf life, Denver would likely not have to give up a huge amount for Hall.
Broncos get: Breece Hall
Jets get: 2025 4th round pick (122), 2025 6th round pick (208)
For the price of a 4th and 6th, that could well be worth it for Denver to get their tailback of the present and future, whilst minimizing the pressure to find a back in the early rounds, allowing them to purely go for the best player available.
