Rumor: Jets RB Breece Hall could be traded at 2025 NFL Draft — will Steelers make a move?

One trade rumor, if true, could impact the Steelers’ 2025 NFL Draft plans in a major way — and it involves Jets star RB Breece Hall.

According to insider Josina Anderson, “league sources” have told her that Hall’s availability has been discussed “within the last week and a half.”

This would coincide with Hall’s cryptic social media post of a ‘fingers crossed’ emoji at 11:56 PM EST on draft day — but it remains to be seen if any teams will pull the trigger during the 2025 NFL Draft.

Hall is a dynamic, dual-threat back who would pair with Steelers RB Jaylen Warren to form a fantastic one-two punch — but what would the Jets want in return?

The Jets have reportedly set their asking price at anywhere from a third- to fourth-round pick in exchange for Hall. While that would be a steal for Pittsburgh, 2025 boasts one of the best RB classes in recent memory — and it may make more sense for the Steelers to use that pick on a dynamic playmaker under a rookie contract for four years.

Will the rumors Anderson reported come to fruition? And if so, will the Steelers decide Hall’s ceiling is too high to ignore for a Day 2 or 3 draft pick?
