Who Are Jaxson Dart’s Parents?

Jaxson Dart, the former Ole Miss and USC quarterback, declared for the 2025 NFL Draft in December 2024. Projected as a first-round pick by Sporting News and a second-rounder by Pro Football Network, Dart was selected by the New York Giants in the first round. The Giants traded up with the Texans to select Dart at pick number 25. At the NFL Combine, Dart ranked fourth among quarterbacks with a total score of 78 and a 6.17 prospect grade, indicating backup potential with starter upside.

Dart began his high school career at Roy High in Utah before transferring to Corner Canyon, where he broke the state record with 67 passing touchdowns. He also threw for 4,691 yards, earning national Gatorade Player of the Year. He joined USC in 2021 as a backup to Kedon Slovis, then transferred to Ole Miss in 2022, where he became the full-time starter.

In 2024, Dart led the SEC in passing yards (4,279) with a 69.3% completion rate. He earned first-team All-SEC honors and won the Conerly Trophy as Mississippi’s top college player. Across four seasons and 45 games, he completed 852 of 1307 passes for 11,970 passing yards, 81 touchdowns, and 27 interceptions. Known for his mobility, poise, and arm strength, Dart enters the draft as one of the top quarterback prospects in his class.

Dart was born on May 13, 2003, in Kaysville, Utah, to parents Kara and Brandon Dart, both of whom were college athletes. But there is no further information available about either of their current whereabouts in the public domain.

Jaxson Dart’s father is Brandon Dart. He was a former standout recruit from Layton, Utah, competing in basketball, football, and baseball. Brandon joined the University of Utah in 1994 and played college football for the Utah Utes.

As a strong safety, he had a breakout season in 1996, when he recorded 96 tackles and 15 tackles for loss. He also earned All-WAC honors, but he suffered a season-ending knee injury in 1997 and a foot injury in 1998. In 1999, the NCAA granted him two additional years of eligibility to continue playing.

Jaxson Dart said he met with the Raiders this week. Chip Kelly recruited him out of high school so there is already a relationship there.Dart showed love to JPJ who is one of his best friends from high school.

Jaxson’s mother, Kara Dart (formerly Campbell), ran track and played volleyball at Weber High School, where she was also a two-time all-state basketball player. However, no other information is available about Kara Dart in the public domain.
