Guardians’ Friday game against Red Sox postponed

CLEVELAND (WJW) – The Cleveland Guardians have postponed their Friday matchup against the Boston Red Sox due to inclement weather, team officials confirmed.

The game will be rescheduled as part of a split doubleheader on Saturday, April 26. The rescheduled game kicks off at 1:10 p.m., while Saturday’s original game will start at 6:10 p.m.

Gates to the first game open at noon and gates to the second game open at 5 p.m. According to team officials, Guardians fans will be cleared from the ballpark between the games.

Team officials said ticketholders for the April 25 game will use the same ticket to attend the 1:10 p.m. game. They cannot attend the evening game unless they also have a ticket for that game.

Anyone who can’t make it to the rescheduled matchup can exchange their tickets here.

The Guardians are 14-10 overall and 7-2 at home so far this season. The Red Sox are 14-13 overall and 6-7 in road games.
