More rain and a low chance of strong to severe storms are forecast for the Dallas area Thursday, beginning in the morning and continuing throughout the day.
Live radar from KXAS-TV (NBC5) shows the initial storm moved out of the Dallas area, though more storms could be seen approached Dallas-Fort Worth just before noon.
The National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office is warning of possible flash flooding, hail and damaging winds from the storm system. Two to four inches of rain is possible.

According to NBC5’s forecast, the rain will be constant through the day, but will weaken around mid-afternoon. Slight rain chances will continue the rest of the day and into the night.
Hundreds of flights at Dallas Love Field and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport were either delayed or cancelled Thursday, according to FlightAware.
More scattered and isolated storms are expected to end the week, with more rain forecast on Saturday as well. Sunday and Monday will be sunny before strong to severe storm chances return Tuesday.
