The Edmonton Oilers are in trouble in the first round of the 2025 Stanley Cup playoffs. They lost both of the first two games of their series against the Los Angeles Kings.
A year after making it to the Stanley Cup Final, Connor McDavid and the Oilers are two losses away from an early postseason exit.
While Edmonton’s back is against the wall, McDavid’s wife, Lauren Kyle McDavid, appears busy with her endeavors. Aside from being the wife of the three-time Hart Memorial Trophy winner, Mrs. McDavid is also an interior designer and runs the premium apparel brand “Sports Club Atelier.”
On Friday, just before Game 3 of the series between the Oilers and the Kings at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Lauren Kyle showed off one of Sports Club Atelier’s newest jackets, inspired by her husband’s team.
“Hard launching the jackets @sportsclubatelier,” she wrote as a caption for the video post.
Before that, she shared on Thursday a promotional video and announced the date and time of the launch of the newest clothing additions to Sports Club Atelier.
As for the Oilers, they are hoping to finally have a breakthrough win in the playoffs after two losses at the hands of the Kings, who have been taking advantagte of Edmonton’s leaky defense.
