The next threat of tornadoes in Oklahoma is expected to arrive in the area early next week.
According to the National Weather Service forecast issued Friday, there is still a lot of uncertainty about the strength, timing and geographic scope of the threat. The risk will become clearer over the weekend, however.
The forecast indicates that on Monday, conditions might not be favorable for storms to form but if they do, they will have the potential to be severe.

Later that night, a cold front will push through Oklahoma and increase the chance of rain and severe thunderstorms as it moves across the state. On Tuesday, the at-risk area moves to the south but still could include Oklahoma City.
