Thibaut Courtois—8: Came up with some important saves, particularly late in the second half as Getafe began to mount some pressure.

Lucas Vazquez—7.5: Best performance in recent memory. Got stuck into tackles, quick and efficient with his distribution, and not a liability at the back.

Raul Asencio—8: Battled all night long with Borja Mayoral but never let the striker get the best of him. Composed and assured as he has proven to be all season.

David Alaba—6.5: Long ball distribution was on point, inclduing a perfect ball over the top to an on-running Endrick who had his shot cleared off the goal line. Had to come off through injury at half-time.

Fran Garcia—7: Galloped up and down the left flank, showing off his speed and motor.

Tchouameni—7: Put in a good display both in midfield and at center back in the second half. Was wrongly given a yellow card for a clean tackle in the second half.

Fede Valverde—6.5: With Arda pulling the strings in possesion and Tchouameni covering behind, had more freedom to get forward.

Arda Guler—8: Sensational in the first half. Played in the heart of midfield, oftentimes the deepest centrally when Madrid were on the ball to help facilitate the team’s build-up. Was constantly involved and scored a brilliant goal with his right foot from the edge of the box. His long-term position is likely in the middle of midfield, if Luka Modric doesn’t renew, Arda could gobble up those minutes next year. Faded out of the game in the second half as the entire team retreated and allowed Getafe to grow into the match.

Brahim Diaz—6: Managed 3 shots on goal but never able to truly challenge Soria in the Getafe net.

Vinicius Junior—7: Showed off an impressive passing range with multiple medium-to-long range passes to an on-running Fran Garcia down the flank. Finished the game with 3 key passes and 1 big chance created/

Endrick—6.5: Played 64 minutes total and gave glimpses of his innate talent. Nearly scored after an intelligent run off the shoulder of the Getafe backline. Gave Duarte of Getafe a rough night with his off-ball movement.

Substitutions:

Camavinga—6: Injured after making a bursting run through midfield, looks set to miss the Copa del Rey final on the weekend.

Jude Bellingham—3: Did not look like he wanted to play, multiple misplaced passes and a lack of desire.
