An unknown number of people were killed and multiple others injured when a driver drove into a crowd at the Lapu Lapu Day Block Party near 41st Avenue and Fraser Street this evening.

Vancouver police confirmed a driver crashed into the crowd around 8 p.m. The driver has been taken into custody and police are at the scene investigating.
Reports online describe the scene as ‘horrible’.
At the Lapu Lapu Festival in Vancouver someone just drove his car into a crowd of people. This is horrible. I cannot believe this could happen in my neighbourhood.
