Police provide description of suspect in shooting at ISU’s Bone Student Center

NORMAL (25News Now) – Police have provided a description of a suspect in a shooting that happened Sunday night at Illinois State University’s Bone Student Center.

Police said they’re looking for a slender Black male, 5 feet 10 inches tall with a black afro hair style, and wearing all black clothes.

He was last seen running south from University Street and College Avenue, according to ISU’s latest emergency alert.

The public is urged to stay away from the area near the student center.

The university’s first emergency alert was issued at 7:55 p.m.

“If you are near this area, take precautions. See www.ilstu.edu for more info,” the alert said.
