Paul George is the latest player to officially be ruled out for the Sixers’ matchup against the Celtics on TNT Thursday night.
But he’s far from the only one — and there could be more to come!
Let’s start with who is out for each team:
Sixers
- Joel Embiid (left knee injury management)
- Tyrese Maxey (lower back sprain)
- Paul George (left groin soreness)
- Jared McCain (torn meniscus)
- Kyle Lowry (right hip injury management)
- Eric Gordon (wrist surgery)
Celtics
- Jaylen Brown (right knee posterior impingement)
- Jrue Holiday (right hand mallet finger)
- Al Horford (left big toe sprain)
- Kristaps Porzingis (Illness)
On top of that, Justin Edwards (left ankle sprain) is questionable for the Sixers while Jayson Tatum (right shoulder impingement) and Sam Hauser (right ankle sprain) have the same designation for the Celtics.
Here’s a rundown of who will definitely be available:
Sixers
- Quentin Grimes
- Lonnie Walker IV
- Kelly Oubre, Jr.
- Guerschon Yabusele
- Andre Drummond
- Adem Bona
- Jared Butler
- Ricky Council IV
- Jeff Dowtin, Jr.
- Alex Reese
(As of now, Jalen Hood-Schifino is listed as out on G League assignment, but that could change)
Celtics
- Derrick White
- Payton Pritchard
- Luke Kornet
- Jordan Walsh
- Neemias Queta
- Torrey Craig
- JD Davison
- Drew Peterson
- Xavier Tillman
- Baylor Scheierman
- Miles Norris
Surely this exactly what TNT and the league were hoping for when they put this game on national television! We’re so locked in on Grimes vs. White tonight. Also, you have Lonnie Walker IV probably getting a start against the team that cut him after training camp.
Are these storylines getting you juiced?! No?!
OK, fair.
