It’s just Miley being Miley! The “Flowers” singer and former Hannah Montana star just showed up for the 2025 Met Gala for “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” looking beyond amazing.
Miley arrived wearing a sweeping black skirt paired with a leather crop top, gold statement necklace, and a long braid.
Miley is gearing up for the release of her new album, Something Beautiful, and told Harper’s Bazaar back in November that the project was inspired by Pink Floyd’s The Wall, saying, “My idea was making The Wall but with a better wardrobe and more glamorous and filled with pop culture.”
She added that the upcoming album is “hypnotizing and glamorous” and is “a concept album that’s an attempt to medicate somewhat of a sick culture through music.”
“The visual component of this is driving the sound,” Miley said. “It was important for me that every song has these healing sound properties. The songs, whether they’re about destruction or heartbreak or death, they’re presented in a way that is beautiful, because the nastiest times of our life do have a point of beauty. They are the shadow, they are the charcoal, they are the shading. You can’t have a painting without highlights and contrast.”
