Robert Griffin III Calls Out Ryan Clark Over Heated Caitlin Clark-Angel Reese Debate

Ever since Caitlin Clark fouled Angel Reese during Saturday’s Indiana Fever vs. Chicago Sky game, the world has seemingly been split in half. People everywhere have been choosing sides of the argument.

During the third quarter of Saturday’s game, Clark fouled Reese as she went up for a layup. Reese fell to the floor but immediately bounced to her feet, upset with the way Clark fouled her. Clark was ultimately called for a flagrant foul.

Since that moment, people have chosen sides.

Robert Griffin III proclaimed Reese hates Clark, citing Reese’s heated reaction after Clark’s hard foul. Ryan Clark decided to respond to Griffin III on “The Pivot” podcast on Monday, stating that Griffin III couldn’t possibly understand what Reese, a black women, is going through. Clark’s presumption comes from the fact that Griffin III’s wife is white.

“The one thing we know about RG3 is he’s not having conversations at his home about what Black women have to endure in this country. If you’re RG3, when is the last time within your household you’ve had a conversation about what Angel Reese is dealing with? You haven’t been able to do that because in both of your marriages, you’ve been married to white women,” Clark said.

Griffin III took to social media on Monday, calling out Clark for crossing the line by bringing his family into their sports debate.

“There’s a line in life that just simply don’t cross. Wives and children are always off limits, and Ryan Clark has sprinted past that line. Clark didn’t like my sports take that Angel Reese hates Caitlin Clark, that’s fine…But what you don’t do is turn around and personally attack me and my family just because you don’t agree with my sports opinion. But what that really shows is just how low of a person Ryan Clark is,” Griffin III said.

Griffin III went on, with a serious, somber look on his face, calling out Clark as a man.

“Ryan, you attacked me and my family in a public forum on a level that shows just how low of a human being you are. Keep my wife and family out of it. Ryan Clark personally attacking me and my family is a bad look for ESPN. It’s a bad look for him as a man. I hope you get the help you need my brother,” Griffin III said before signing off.
