Former PSU WR seriously injured, woman killed in ATV crash with a deer

BRADFORD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Former Penn State wide receiver Julian Crushshon-Fleming was seriously injured in an ATV crash that left a female passenger dead, state police report.

The crash happened Friday night, May 23, at around 8:13 p.m. on Painter Lick Lane in Columbia Township.

Troopers said that 24-year-old Crushshon-Fleming was traveling north on an ATV when a deer jumped out into the road, causing him to crash. The passenger, 23-year-old Alyssa Boyd, was pronounced dead at the scene while Crushshon-Fleming was rushed to Guthrie Troy Community Hospital.

According to the report, neither was wearing safety equipment at the time.

Crushshon-Fleming played for Penn State last season after a transfer from Ohio State before entering the NFL draft and ultimately was not selected.
