HCPD revealed on Monday that 10 people suffered gunshot wounds in the shooting, and another person was hurt but not shot.
“Of those, the worst of the injured are in critical but stable condition at area hospitals,” HCPD said.
As far as the investigation goes, HCPD said that it believes the shooting stemmed from an argument during a private Memorial Day weekend gathering on a charter boat.
According to police spokesperson Mikayla Moskov, the boat was docked at the time of the shooting, but no one was shot on the boat.
When shots rang out, Moskov said some ran into the water, the parking lot and onto the boat, but most of the victims were on the dock/land when they were shot.
The location of the shooter at the time of the crime and their identity are still under investigation.
