Former Green Bay Packers receiver Davante Adams to sign new deal with Los Angeles Rams

There will be no reunion for Davante Adams and the Green Bay Packers.

The star receiver is signing a deal with the Los Angeles Rams.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting Adams is signing a two-year pact worth $46 million, with $26 million in guaranteed money.

Adams, a six-time Pro Bowler, spent eight seasons with the Green Bay Packers before being traded to the Las Vegas Raiders prior to the 2022 season. He also played with the New York Jets for part of 2024.

Recently being released by the Jets, Adams is expected to replace veteran receiver Cooper Kupp and team with Puka Nacua to form a dangerous passing attack with quarterback Matthew Stafford.

Las Vegas oddsmakers thought a reunion between Adams and the Packers was a significant possibility, but the veteran wideout decided to play in his home state.

Adams has at least 1,000 yards receiving in six of his last seven seasons. He caught 85 passes for 1,083 and eight touchdowns last year in 14 games with the Raiders and Jets.
