AEW is charging into Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, LA for Collision airing on Saturday night (Apr. 26, 2025). The Playoff Palooza lineup features the rubber match in the grudge between FTR and Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong, Toni Storm in a championship eliminator, Bandido defending the ROH World Championship, the Best Wrestler Alive, and more.
Collision will have a slightly later start time due to the NBA playoffs, hence the Playoff Palooza name. The broadcast is expected to start on TNT at 8:30 pm ET / 5:30 pm PT coast-to-coast or immediately after the NBA game if it runs late. The show will also simulcast on Max.

NBA still game in progress. Collision starts after the game. Buzzer beater finish at 8:50 pm ET. Show time!
Swerve Strickland opened the show. Before he could speak, the Young Bucks interrupted. Swerve was supposed to wrestle later in the show, but the Bucks forced the match to start first. Swerve competed in street clothes.
Swerve Strickland defeated Blake Christian. Vanilla Baby controlled the flow with help from Lee Johnson interfering on the outside. Swerve finally found his groove to win via JML Driver. Afterward, Swerve was eyeing the Bucks. Johnson attacked from behind. Swerve came back for a rolling maneuver to stand tall. Nick Jackson attacked Swerve, and Matt Jackson joined in. EVP Trigger. Going for the Meltzer Driver, Prince Nana grabbed Nick’s foot. Kenny Omega ran in for the save and some snap dragon suplexes. Omega and Swerve shared a fist-pound.
Samoa Joe won’t be fooled by Jon Moxley’s chaos. It is inevitable that Joe is coming for the AEW World Championship.
