Moss is a divorcee, who was previously married to actor, comedian, musician, and writer Fred Armisen. The former couple met in October 2008 and were engaged by January 2009, and married in October of that year. Moss and Armisen wed in London Island City, New York, and were separated by June 2010 and finalised their divorce by May 2011.

Elisabeth Moss first gained to recognition after appearing in the NBC political drama The West Wing (1999–2006). She then rose to critical acclaim after starring in the period drama Mad Men (2007–2015). Facing the prospect of being married off and living a life of servitude, they will be forced to search for allies, both new and old, to help in their fight for freedom and the life they deserve.’
