Amber Alert: Daughter, mother taken from Garner home

Garner police are looking into an Amber Alert on Tuesday morning.

Officers said a child and her mother were kidnapped from a home on Buck Branch Drive.

Initial findings indicate that two men and one woman wearing masks and carrying guns broke into the home and demanded $1 million from Eliuth Alejandro Martinez.

When he refused to comply, the suspects took the victim’s 1-year-old daughter and wife, Alondra Michelle Benitez De Jesus, while restraining Eliuth Martinez with tape. The girl’s name is Grecia Salome Alejandro-Benitez.

The getaway car was described as a black or dark-colored Nissan Altima. Authorities did not have a license plate number.

An Amber Alert was issued for both the child and mother.

The FBI and SBI were at the home helping with the investigation.
