The Masters picked a heckuva day to reveal a new, and quite unique, menu item alongside pimento cheese and egg salad sandwiches.
The Savory Tomato Pie makes a limited debut this year, the tournament announced around lunch time Tuesday, saying that it is a Southern tradition, reimagined. The club also claims that it does not pull April Fools’ Day jokes.
The pie resembles an empanada or handheld pie and is listed on a Masters allergens menu and safe-to-consume guide under sandwiches. It is alongside Egg Salad, Pimento Cheese, Bar B Que, Masters Club and others.
The price of the Savory Tomato Pie is unknown, but it will likely be in line with the cheap prices of other Masters concessions. Egg Salad and Pimento Cheese have been $1.50 in the past, with Bar B Que, Masters Clubs and other sandwiches going for $3.
Beer was $6 in 2024 while chips, peanuts and cookies held steady at $1.50. A Georgia Peach Ice Cream Sandwich, a favorite on a warm spring day in Augusta, was $3.
