Ashton Jeanty Doesn’t Hold Back on Green Bay Before NFL Draft

The 2025 NFL draft is set to begin in Green Bay, Wisconsin tonight with the first round. On Friday, rounds two and three will occur, and on Saturday the draft will finish up with rounds four, five, six, and seven. Ashton Jeanty is one of the most talked about players heading into round one.

Jeanty is coming off of a 2024 college football season that saw him become a Heisman Trophy finalist. Even though the award went to Travis Hunter, a fellow 2025 draft prospect, he was deserving of the award as well.

While helping lead Boise State to the College Football Playoff, Jeanty carried the football 374 times for 2,601 yards and 29 touchdowns, averaging a sizzling 7.0 yards per carry. He also chipped in with 138 yards and a touchdown on 23 receptions.

At this point in time, it seems to be a foregone conclusion that Jeanty will be a top-10 pick.

During a media session ahead of tonight’s draft, Jeanty spoke out about the host city of the draft, Green Bay.

“Calm place, not much to do here,” he said. “Nice big football stadium right by the suburbs.”

Many may not know that Lambeau Field, the home of the Green Bay Packers, is built in the middle of neighborhoods. Unlike many professional sports stadiums, there are houses built all around the stadium with Lambeau in the center of them.
