CLEVELAND, Ohio — Cleveland Guardians baseball is returning to local cable systems, satellite television and live TV streaming platforms this season, the team announced hours before the first pitch of Opening Day.
Guardians TV, the new league-operated television home of the ballclub, is available on cable providers Spectrum, Cox, AT&T U-verse, Armstrong, Breezeline and MCTV; satellite television provider DirecTV; and streaming services Fubo and DirecTV Stream.
Generally, where you watched games last season, you’ll watch them this season—just on a different channel. The team’s channel finder has a complete list of TV providers.
Also, for the first time, a standalone Guardians streaming package is available in the team’s home viewing market. Fans can subscribe to CLEGuardians.TV, MLB’s direct-to-consumer product, on their smart TV, computer or mobile device for $19.99 per month or $99.99 for the entire season. Guardians TV will air approximately 150 games.
“Our new TV partnership with Major League Baseball expands our ability to put Guardians games in nearly 5 million fans’ homes,” said Alex King, the club’s executive vice president of marketing & brand strategy, in a statement. “The Guardians are committed to making our games significantly more accessible to watch on TV. In addition to extending agreements with traditional cable providers, we’ve introduced the CLEGuardians.TV presented by Progressive streaming service to all fans in our TV viewing area.”

Matt Underwood, Rick Manning and Andre Knott will be on the call for the 11th straight season and host the postgame show when the team is on the road. For home games, Al Pawlowski and Chris Gimenez will host a 30-minute pregame show and a 15-minute postgame show.
Major League Baseball took over the broadcasts after the Guardians’ deal with Diamond Sports Group, the parent of Bally Sports (now FanDuel Sports Network), expired at the end of the 2024 season while the company was in bankruptcy proceedings. Diamond emerged from Chapter 11 in January and rebranded Main Street Sports Group.
MLB-produced games will feature several high-tech enhancements, including a new WireCam at Progressive Field, a portrait mode camera and live look-ins from the MLB Replay Operations Center in New York City.
Fans without access to Guardians TV can still catch the team on at least 14 national TV appearances:
- TBS: April 15 (at Baltimore, out-of-market only), June 3 (at New York Yankees)
- Apple TV+: April 25 (vs. Boston), June 27 (vs. St. Louis)
