Elisabeth Hasselbeck Confirms She’s Not Returning to Survivor for Season 50

Don’t expect to see Elisabeth Hasselbeck back on your TV screens for Survivor season 50.

The former The View co-host, who competed on the second season of Survivor, took to her Instagram Stories over the weekend to address speculation that she was part of the cast for the show’s milestone 50th season.

“No, I’m not doing Survivor. That is funny though. I’m not doing that. I’m gonna be back there with, like, snacks instead,” she told her followers, panning the camera to show a pool behind her.

“I’ll be gardening … and working on some fun projects which I’ll tell you about, but it does not include Fiji or Survivor,” she continued. “I’m not doing that. I wanna be with my family and a burger in the backyard.”

Survivor season 50 is poised to be a celebration of the reality competition series, featuring a cast of all returning players from across the years.

Fans were also given the ability to vote for elements of the gameplay, living up to the promise to put the power “in the hands of the fans.”

Hasselbeck came in fourth place on Survivor: The Australian Outback, which aired in 2001.

The following year, Hasselbeck married former professional football player Tim Hasselbeck. The couple, who celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary last July, share three children: daughter Grace and sons Taylor and Isaiah.

Hasselbeck then co-hosted The View from 2003 to 2013, winning a Daytime Emmy for her work in 2009. She then joined Fox & Friends from 2013 to 2015.

Survivor season 50, hosted by Jeff Probst, is set to premiere in February 2026.

The cast for the show’s 50th season will be revealed Wednesday, May 28, on CBS Mornings.
