Bella Hadid shared a series of sweet throwback pics in honor of big sister Gigi‘s 30th birthday this week — and fans couldn’t get over how adorable the supermodel siblings were as kids.
On Wednesday, April 23, 28-year-old Bella posted over a dozen photos to Instagram celebrating some of their happiest memories together (going back as far as one shot of toddler Gigi holding a newborn Bella in the hospital). The other images included snaps of the pigtailed sisters cuddling in various contexts and photos of the sisters having various adventures as teenagers and young women, living their best lives on sunny beaches and out on the town.
“30!!! Holy what the heck. !!!! Can’t believe we’ve been connected at the hip for this long. Lucky me🤍 @gigihadid 👯👯👯,” Bella wrote in her caption.
“Happy 30th to my butt buddy, my sweet sister, my mentor , my whip-my-ass-into shaper, my built in best friend … you have shaped me , taught me , loved me , (scared me 😉) stood by me and pushed me to be everything I am today,” she continued.
“You are the most funny, cool, fun, creative , artistic , loving, thoughtful human/big sis and to watch you be the best, most fun, bad ass mama to our Khaiba is the greatest gift to me as a sister,” Bella added, going on to tell her sister that she has a “heart of gold,” praising her for being “constantly being thoughtful of others, but always staying true to yourself.”
“You have taught me so much of how to be myself in a world of people telling us all who we are supposed to be,” Bella added. “And that’s a gift I cherish from you beyond anything. Thank you to mommy @yolandahadid for bringing my first best friend into the world and thank you @gigihadid for bringing my newest best friend into the world!! I’m the luckiest girl to be your baby sister. I couldn’t choose a better YOU if I tried!!!”

Bella’s followers loved seeing the siblings grow up over the years.

Gigi and Bella are the daughters of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Hadid and her ex-husband Mohamed Hadid, who also share 25-year-old son Anwar. Gigi shares daughter Khai with ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik, formerly of One Direction.
