Houston Rockets reserve center Steven Adams is looking forward to his first playoffs with the Rockets. Adams has been a key member off the bench this season, allowing head coach Ime Udoka to play a big lineup at times. Adams’s leadership will be counted on in the first round of the playoffs, starting tomorrow night against the Golden State Warriors.
“It’s going to help us a lot because the playoffs are a very different game. I know you hear that a lot but it’s very detail stuff. Like this guy has an open shot but is that what the defense wants because the number could work in the defense’s favor?

Adams feels like the crowd will bring the energy and noise, as the Rockets are expecting a sold-out crowd.
“I don’t know but if it’s anything like the play-in game against Golden State it’s going to be freaking lit bro! It is going to be turned up! That was ridiculous, the atmosphere was crazy as the crowd was getting into it.
Home-court advantage will be a significant factor in the series against the Warriors. Adams must continue to provide good defense and rebounding as his battle against Draymond Green will also be a key matchup.
