Michigan State won the regular-season championship, and Maryland, Michigan and UCLA also earned double-byes. They can rest until Friday’s quarterfinals.
Teams seeded 5th-9th get one bye and begin play on Thursday. Teams seeded 10th-15th play on Wednesday, the first day of the tournament. The bottom three teams in the standings — Nebraska, Penn State and Washington — do not make the tournament.
