Masters 2025 third round live updates, leaderboard, tee times: Rory McIlroy jumps into the lead

It’s Moving Day at Augusta National, and all eyes are on Justin Rose.

Rose, who shot a 7-under 65 on Thursday to fly into the lead, maintained his one-shot advantage into the weekend. Bryson DeChambeau jumped into second, however, after his 4-under 68 on Friday. Those two are in the final pairing in the penultimate day.

Rory McIlroy, who imploded a bit on Thursday to seemingly fall out of contention, rallied on Friday to get to 6-under with a bogey-free outing. He’ll start Saturday just two shots off the lead alongside Corey Conners. McIlroy is looking for his first ever green jacket, which would give him the career grand slam and end his long major championship drought.

Top-ranked Scottie Scheffler, who started the week as the betting favorite, is at 5-under with Shane Lowry and Matt McCarty.
