Coachella got real hot this weekend—and not just because of the blazing desert sun. Instead, festivalgoers had Megan Thee Stallion to thank for bringing the heat while she embodied the Western aesthetic with the help of a denim G-string thong.
Bringing back the Y2K-era whale tail with a modern twist, the rapper added a grungy edge to the classic cowgirl vibe. Her take on the Canadian tuxedo included a plunging studded bra top and matching low-rise distressed jeans from Who Decides War, featuring orange and yellow designs painted on.

She paired her ensemble with chunky tan boots that peeked out underneath her oversized straight-leg bottoms. Her bold red hair—styled in long, waist-grazing mermaid waves—brought a pop of color against the darker elements of her outfit.
To tie everything together, Megan accessorized with a silver cross chain necklace, oversized hoop earrings, and a stack of silver and black bracelets. Even her manicure was coordinated, with silver accents to match the hardware throughout the fit.
The daring country outfit comes amid the singer’s announcement of her next single, “Whenever,” set to drop on April 25. She teased the release with a movie-style poster on Instagram where she wore another denim-heavy cowgirl look—this time in a mismatched bra and underwear set, plus a Western hat embroidered with an “M.”
Outside of the onstage moments and outfit reveals, Megan appears to be enjoying her Coachella experience alongside her friends. Earlier this weekend, Cara Delevingne shared a photo of herself and Renée Rapp hanging with the rapper on the festival grounds, joking that the two blondes were acting as her personal bodyguards.
