The winter weather moved in on April Fools’ Day, but more snow and rain is falling on Wednesday, prompting a second straight NEXT Weather Alert from WCCO meteorologists.

As of 10:50 p.m., more than a dozen schools issued a delayed start, including Alexandria Schools, Bemidji Area Schools and Red Lake School District. It comes after more than three dozen schools were reporting closings or delays of some type Wednesday morning.
