CLEARWATER, Fla. — Multiple injuries were reported after a boat crashed near the Memorial Causeway Bridge Sunday night, according to the Clearwater Police Department.

Officials with the Clearwater Police Department and Clearwater Fire and Rescue are on the scene.

Officials said a call reporting the boat crash came in at 8:43 p.m. on Sunday.

The number of injuries and the extent of injuries were not immediately provided by authorities.
