Obviously we saw the media release come out just asking people to stay away from this area of about 7078 traces to Dutch Hall. What’s been kind of the damage and the calls that you guys have seen and received today? Yes, so *** tornado touched down ever so briefly, but long enough to create some pretty good damage in the area. Some obviously some large amounts of hail came through. Uh, we’ve seen damaged roof, damaged siding, uh, tons of tree, trees that were knocked down, uh, tons of outer buildings that have been essentially split in half and so forth, um, just lots of. lots of debris in the roadways and everything like that and quite *** few damaged power lines as well. Yeah, thank you. Yeah, we’ve had probably about 5 or 6 different areas reports of downed power lines. The OPPD was out here with probably about 20 minutes cutting the power. to the homes that were affected, to the power lines. They’ve since cleared, I would say all but one power line off the road at this time. What about injuries? any that have been reported? Very, very minor injuries, some cuts and bruises. Luckily that that’s been about the extent of it. Can you just reiterate the area that you’re asking the public to kind of stay away from for safety reasons? Yes, so we got Dutch Hall Road is where the primary damage has occurred, 702nd Dutch Hall to the south, *** little bit to the north there that has all been cleared out. But obviously there’s still *** chance of some debris being in the roadway. 78th Street and then 84th Street, uh, we just learned that there’s some down power lines there, uh, one or two power lines and then uh some big tree debris there as well. Uh, so this, this would be the area to stay away for for the rest of the night. Anything, anything else important for the public to know? Uh, you know, luckily, um, uh, the emergency operation center was activated. Long before the tornado hit, before the tornado warning was issued, sirens were activated. We’ve been monitoring the weather situation all day. If everybody’s paying attention to it, it seems like everybody did take shelter when they heard the sirens, which probably saved *** lot of injuries, serious injuries, but yeah, other than that, just stay away from the. Awesome. Uh, do you know like *** range of, is it like dozens of homes that you’ve seen with damage or upwards of that? Yeah, I, I would say probably, probably *** dozen or so more of homes that have been destroyed, lots of fences, that’s been destroyed, outbuildings, garages, and so forth, that’ll have to be replaced eventually.
