This week’s final round of storms is expected to roll through North Texas on Saturday.
Strong to severe storms are forecast to occur in the Dallas-Fort Worth area mostly between 4 a.m. and 8 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. They could bring large hail and strong wind gusts.
Isolated or scattered storms are expected to linger in the region later in the day, the agency said. The weather service also said due to the heavy rainfall, some areas — particularly those northeast of the D-FW area — could see minor flooding.

The weather service said some areas west of Interstate 35 could see temperatures dipping below freezing Sunday and Monday mornings. For D-FW, low temperatures on those days could hoover just below 40 degrees, according to the agency.
