RANDOLPH COUNTY, Ark. (KAIT) – The National Weather Service in Little Rock said Monday it appeared a tornado touched down last Wednesday in Randolph County.
According to the NWS preliminary report, an EF-2 tornado touched down at 5:54 p.m. April 2, about two miles northeast of Shannon along Trinity Road.
The tornado, with estimated winds of 125 miles per hour, ripped large sections of a home’s roof, the report said.
The NWS stated its survey of the area will continue.
