Ode’ Osbourne vs Luis Gurule Prediction
Ode Osbourne is potentially fighting for his UFC career having lost his last three fights and four of his last five and he will be a desperate man in the Octagon on Saturday night.
The Jamaican Sensation has come up unstuck against some decent-calibre opponents like Asu Almabayev and it was a unanimous decision loss to Ronaldo Rodriguez at UFC 306 last time out.
He comes up against a UFC newcomer Luis Gurule who is unbeaten in all ten of his professional MMA fights. He earned his opportunity after winning in Dana White’s Contender Series in October picking up a split-decision win over Nick Piccininni.
This represents a major step up in quality for him and it will be interesting to see how he measures up against somebody like Osbourne.
He should not be fazed however as while Osbourne has plenty of experience at this level, he has only gone 4-6 in the UFC after coming through the Contender Series himself back in 2019.
Gurule is really well-rounded and has multiple routes to victory. With Osbourne struggling to find a win, the momentum is all with the newcomer and we expect him to get the win.
Prediction: Luis Gurule to win
