泰国媒体PBS Thai今日报道，泰国审计署副审计长兼发言人素提蓬·本尼迪（Sutthipong Boonnithi）表示，受缅甸7.9级地震影响（泰国气象部门称地震达到8.2级），审计署位于曼谷乍都乍（Chatuchak）区、正在建设中的新办公大楼在施工期间全部倒塌。目前该项目施工进度已完成30%。素提蓬表示，他已紧急赶赴现场核查损失情况。 新办公大楼项目为30层高层建筑，总建设预算21.36亿泰铢（约合人民币4.6亿元），自2020年启动施工，后因新冠疫情一度暂停。项目由合资企业ITD-CREC（意大利泰发展有限公司与中国中铁十局（泰国）有限公司组成的联合体）承建。 监督施工的单位为合资企业PKW（由PN Synchronize有限公司，W. & Sahai Consultants有限公司以及KP Consultants and Management有限公司组成），负责主体建筑及附属设施的施工监督，合同金额为7465.3万泰铢，并将债务期限延长至2020-2026财年。
