Pedro Pascal Calls Out J.K. Rowling For “Heinous Loser Behavior” For Anti-Trans Views

Pedro Pascal has some thoughts about J.K. Rowling following the Harry Potter author’s celebration of an anti-trans UK Supreme Court ruling.

After the high court ruled that a woman is defined by biological sex, excluding transgender women, Rowling took to social media to gloat about it.

“I love it when a plan comes together,” Rowling posted on Elon Musk’s social media platform, X.

Activist and social media creator Tariq Ra’ouf made a video in which he called out Rowling, likening her behavior to that of the Harry Potter villain Voldemort.

“J.K. Rowling is reveling in the fact that she helped the UK Supreme Court get to the point where they can define that trans women are not women legally,” Ra’ouf said in the video. “She’s so proud of all the work that she’s been doing to stoke hatred and fear into the general public about a very small minority population that’s already some of the most misunderstood people on the Earth.”

Ra’ouf made a call to allies to help not make Harry Potter profitable as Rowling displays “cocky” tendencies as she gets “the same royalties” to her work whether people “read them or burn them.”

“That shit. That awful disgusting shit — that has consequences,” Ra’ouf added.

Pascal replied to the video adding, “Awful disgusting SHIT is exactly right. Heinous LOSER behavior.”

Pascal is a prominent trans supporter who recently expressed his support by wearing a t-shirt to the London premiere of Marvel’s Thunderbolts, featuring the words “Protect the Dolls.”

The “Protect the Dolls” t-shirt was designed by Conner Ives, who showed it at his runway show during London Fashion Week earlier this year. “Dolls” is how the LGBTQIA+ community refers to trans women.

Pascal had previously worn the shirt during his 50th birthday celebration on April 6.

The actor who is joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Reed Richards in The Fantastic Four: First Steps, has been a vocal trans rights advocate. Pascal’s sister, Lux Pascal, came out as a transgender woman in February 2021.
