American rapper Travis Scott made his debut in Catalonia on Saturday night, performing for the first time in the territory at a surprise concert at Les Tres Xemeneies in Sant Adrià del Besòs.
The 30-minute show, organized by Spotify and FC Barcelona, was part of the unveiling of the club’s new jersey for the upcoming ‘Clàssic’ game against Real Madrid. The shirt is a collaboration with Scott’s clothing brand Cactus Jack.
Scott took to the stage wearing the jersey and ensured no one stood still as he played his signature blend of atmospheric sounds, beats, and autotuned vocals and hits such as ‘FE!N’ and ‘Butterfly Effect’. With a futuristic, dark, and theatrical aesthetic, he performed on a stage resembling a football field complete with a goalpost and flares.

The Barcelona football team has a tradition of presenting a new t-shirt with the help of big artists, and Scott follows in the footsteps of major recording artists such as Rosalía, Coldplay, Karol G, Drake, and the Rolling Stones.
