Bruce’s Analysis:
It’s a logjam in the West! The fourth-thru eighth seeds remain completely in flux as all five teams currently in those spots sit on 32 losses. Of that bunch, the Clippers are the hottest, having won 14 of 17, while covering 12 of their last 13. Back-to-back demolitions of Dallas last weekend at the Intuit Dome by a combined 56 points suggests LA’s serious current mindset. Kawhi Leonard is one possible absence on Tuesday, but note the Clips beat the Mavs by 25 on Friday night the last time they played minus Kawhi. Meanwhile, the Spurs’ longshot play-in chances have ended by losing seven of eight, with injuries having taken Wemby, De’Aaron Fox, and Jeremy Sochan out of the lineup. Play Clippers
