Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick just celebrated their baby girl’s forthcoming arrival in the best way.

Over the weekend, The Valley cast members had a the most beautiful baby shower, complete with a floral wall, a stunning cake, beautiful outfits, and an exciting guest list. In several Instagram Stories, Kristen revealed all the incredible details, starting with her baby shower glam and gorgeous multicolored maxi dress.

Brittany Cartwright hosted the event and, of course, she went all out. Brittany decorated the outdoor area with a jaw-dropping wall covered in lush greenery and an array of colorful flowers. The wall featured an adorable sign that said, “A little wildflower is on the way.”

Brittany also took to her Instagram Stories to share a behind-the-scenes look at the festivities. In addition to showing off the stunning floral wall, the West Coast mom also revealed more details from inside the party. In a re-shared photo, Brittany showed off the plentiful charcuterie and cheese spread that also featured fresh and dried fruit, nuts, and more. The party also had what looked like pastel-colored macaroons and a full bar for guests with more florals and knick knacks.

Jesse Lally was also in attendance, and was sure to snap a sweet photo with the soon-to-be-parents.

We also got a peek of the incredible two-tiered white cake for the occasion that was surrounded by eye-popping flowers.

Kristen Doute reveals how she’s feeling about her pregnancy

Though Kristen and Luke had a great time at the shower, the journey to be new parents hasn’t always been easy.

In the above clip from The Valley After Show, Kristen revealed that some of her most recent weeks of pregnancy had been “lovely,” though nearly all of her first two trimesters were “not fun.”

“I was not well for the first 20 weeks,” she said, before revealing that her hormonal shifts were not exactly easy on her fiancé. “The first 20 weeks were really hard on him. He’s like, ‘I don’t know what’s wrong. You’re not yourself.’ And then my response is, ‘No s–t I’m not myself!'”

Luke reflected on his own journey through all this in a separate After Show interview, saying, “Kristen’s an emotional person to begin with, and hormones fluctuating created something I wasn’t entirely prepared for.”

Moreover, in a recent interview with The Daily Dish, Kirsten expanded more on her and Luke’s path to being parents.

“We’re really excited. I’m ready to not be pregnant. It’s so fun,” Kristen laughed. “But yeah, we’re just — we’re super excited. Luke’s doing so much work right now.”
