The Miami Dolphins agreed to terms on a two-year, $6.5 million deal with Tennessee Titans wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo and Tom Pelissero.
Westbrook-Ikhine, who turns 28 later this month, first joined the Titans as an undrafted free agent in 2020 and played each of the last three seasons on one-year deals with the team. His best year with the franchise was his most recent when he recorded 32 receptions for 497 yards and nine touchdowns — the most for any Titans receiver since A.J. Brown’s departure.
The 6’2 deep threat recorded at least 11 yards per reception in all five of his seasons with the Titans and averaged over 15 yards per catch in 2022 and 2024.
In recent seasons, the Dolphins have seen prolific numbers from their starting duo of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, but depth at the position has been a concern. While 2024 fifth-round pick Malik Washington, running back De’Von Achane, and tight end Jonnu Smith emerged as reliable options for Tua Tagovailoa, there aren’t many other weapons in the wide receiver room. It also doesn’t help that Waddle and Hill posted poor numbers in 2024, and the latter’s January drama has created doubt about his place with the franchise.
Westbrook-Ikhine has 126 career receptions for 1,773 yards and 19 touchdowns.
