Others say they are unable to login at all, while one said their entire screen went black.

MailOnline tried to access Spotify on an iPhone and on a desktop computer in the UK, and did not encounter these issues on either device.

Many frustrated users have flocked to X to discuss this morning’s outage.

‘Spotify won’t load any more and it gives me errors every time i try to load it,’ one user tweeted.

Another added: ‘Now talk about why my screen on Spotify is black and I can’t search any songs.’

And one joked: ‘SPOTIFY IS DOWN FOR THE WHOLE WORLD I ALMOST GOT A HEART ATTACK THINKIN ITS JUST ME.’
