LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) – Good morning Texoma! We will see beautiful weather to get your weekend started. Temperatures this morning are starting in the 30s, and we will quickly warm up and reach the 70s this afternoon! Skies will be mostly sunny with a moderate breeze out of the southwest at 10 to 20 mph. There will be an elevated fire risk this afternoon, so it will be best to avoid outdoor fire use.

Tomorrow will be another nice day with lots of sunshine. We will have a weak cool front move in tonight, so temperatures will drop just a bit on Saturday. Afternoon high temperatures will peak in the low 70s.

Looking ahead, we will see two waves of rain over the next 7 days. The first wave will be on Sunday during the afternoon/evening hours. The second wave will be on Tuesday morning. Both of these waves will produce scattered showers, so not everyone will see rainfall. There will also be a chance to have some lightning and thunder, but severe weather chances appear low at this time. We will keep you updated as we learn more.
